Description
MONOPOTASSIUM PHOSPHATE – HORTIPRAY MKP 0-52-34
Areas of application:
- Horticulture
- Water-soluble fertiliser for fertigation, hydroponics and vertical farming, quickly and efficiently delivering nutrients to the root system of plants.
- Providing plants with nutrients
- Foliar feeding
- Ingredient in NPK mixtures
What is MKP used for?
- Strengthening the root system: Phosphorus stimulates root development, which improves the absorption of water and nutrients from the soil.
- Accelerating flowering and fruiting: Potassium is responsible for transporting nutrients within the plant, which promotes more abundant flowering and fruit set.
- Improving fruit quality: Phosphorus and potassium increase the content of sugars, vitamins and other beneficial substances in fruits.
- Increasing plant resistance to diseases and pests: Healthy plant nutrition boosts their immunity.
How to use MKP?
Root feeding, fertigation (feeding through an irrigation system) and foliar feeding (spraying on leaves).
Do not combine with:
Water-soluble calcium preparations – when Prayon MKP is mixed with calcium sulphate or calcium nitrate, an insoluble Ca₃(PO₄)₂ precipitate may form, so we recommend applying calcium fertilisers separately.
Highly alkaline preparations – they can partially neutralise the phosphate acidity of Prayon MKP, which will reduce the availability of phosphorus. If it is necessary to use an alkaline preparation, apply two separate treatments on different days.
