Description
Lactobacillus plantarum 100B is a probiotic strain from BIOPROX (France) in freeze-dried form: freeze-dried on maltodextrin as a carrier. The strain has been specially selected as a probiotic for the production of food supplements and functional foods – fermented milk, other dairy products, etc.
Guaranteed specification
- Appearance – cream to beige powder.
- Dry matter – ≥ 95.0% (S 9613, in-house method).
- Water activity (Aw) – < 0.200 (07 FU 117 10, in-house method).
- Live cell count – ≥ 1.0×10¹¹ CFU/g (M 92004, in-house method).
Microbiological specification
- Enterobacteria – < 10 CFU/g (NF V08-054).
- Enterococcus – < 10 CFU/g (FIL 149 A).
- Yeasts and moulds – < 10 CFU/g (NF V08-059).
- Staphylococcus (coagulase-positive) – < 10 CFU/g (NF V08-057-1).
- Salmonella – absent in 25 g (BIO N°12/16-09/05).
- Listeria monocytogenes – absent in 25 g (BIO N°12/09-07/02).
